Congratulations to Our 2025 Award Recipients!

About the Awards:

The above three award recipients (Chamber Business of the Year, Chamber Member of the Year, and New Chamber Member of the Year), as members of the Chamber, should actively carry out the Chamber's Mission Statement of advancing the economic, commercial, industrial, professional, cultural and civic welfare of the Southwest Area Chamber Community.

Citizen of the Year - Presented to an individual for his/her outstanding dedication and commitment through unselfish service toward the betterment of the community. Chamber membership is not required of this individual.

Community Improvement Award - Presented to the business that has made the most significant improvement to expand or upgrade its physical appearance or to transform a piece of derelict or run-down property into a viable, useful space in the community. The property must be located within the geographical boundaries of the Southwest Area Chamber community and the improvement must be completed before it can be submitted for this award. Chamber membership is not required.

Heritage Award – Presented to a long-standing business or organization in the Southwest Area Chamber community who deserves recognition for having had an extended impact on the economy of the community over a period of many years. Chamber membership is not required. This award is not necessarily an annual award.
