The Crestwood-Sunset Hills Area Chamber of Commerce is revving up its gears for the 6th Annual Route 66 Classic Car Cruise on Friday, August 7 and Saturday August 8. This community festival is a fun-filled day of classic cars, music, food, family activities and more.
Cars Under The Stars
On Friday the 7th, bring your lawn chairs to the Creve Coeur Camera Video (9650 Watson Rd., 63126) parking lot to see the Disney movie Cars outside, on the same location as the once Route 66 Park-In Theatre. Food trucks arrive about 6 and movie starts about 8.
All Day Saturday
The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday the 8th. Watch the parade along Eddie and Park, Sappington, and Watson at 10 a.m. Children's activities run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Last Gnome Standing performs at 3:30 and MO Fun at 7. There will be plenty of beverages available as well as food trucks and LongHorn SteakHouse. Event will be at Pole Position Raceway, 8800 Watson Rd., 63119. Shuttle parking is available across the street at Webster Gardens Lutheran Church.
