2015 Chamber Shop Local Guide

Every Chamber member will be included.

Toys For School Kids

The Toys for School Kids program evolved when the folks at Equity Financial Services started collecting toys at Holiday party. The party annually drew over 300 guests from the area with the price of admission being a toy. The first year they collected enough toys for one school, (Shepard Elementary, since closed) and distributed them to the children in a ‘toy store’ format with the added incentive of giving the children with perfect attendance the chance to choose first. That first year they collected and distributed about 300 gifts.

In the subsequent 20 plus years the program has expanded to include 3 SLPS schools (Meramec Elementary, Monroe and Patrick Henry.) They now have over 35 collection points throughout the Crestwood Sunset Hills area. You will know the drop off locations because of the sign and red barrel.

It is a community wide effort that only happens with the help of many individuals and groups.

EFS would like to recognize the following companies and organizations for their support: Garden Villa/Delmar Gardens, Saale Chiropractic, Walgreens, Two Men and a Truck, City of Sunset Hills Parks and Recreation Department and the Crestwood Fire Department.

Member Networking Lunch

The South Tech High School Culinary Department once again wowed us at the November Networking Lunch.

Thanks to our Sponsor JDRF and our guest speaker Charlie Brennan from KMOX. He taught us a lot about historic St. Louisans.
