AO began in Springfield, MO in 1990 as one of the first supported living programs in Southern Missouri for individuals with disabilities. The local AO office that belongs to the Sunset Hills Crestwood Chamber of Commerce came into being in 2005 offering employment services and support for individuals with a wide range of disabilities. Since that time, AO in St. Louis has expanded to provide support to foster youth transitioning to independence and independent living support for individuals with disabilities. AO merged with JESS (Jobs and Employment Support Services) in 2010 and continues to offer a wide range of support for youth, individuals with disabilities, and families throughout St. Louis City, St. Louis County, Franklin County, and Jefferson County.

Dr. Goldberg and American Eyewear Center have been providing personal eyecare to local residents for many years. We are a family-owned practice and all of our staff have many years of experience. We love helping our patients to choose just the right eyeglasses or contact lenses.

The world's fastest indoor racing experience recently arrived in Crestwood. Much to the excitement of area families and race enthusiasts, Pole Position Raceway officially opened its doors March 22 at 8800 Watson Road.

Pole Position combines the latest in electronic motor technology with an expert-designed euro track to create a high speed, unique racing experience. The karts have the ability to reach speeds up to 45 MPH for an adrenaline rush and are controlled with automatic pit-speed reduction, for safety. Pole Position offers adult and kid karts and an adult 1/4 mile track and a kid's oval track.

Mike Johnson, Owner, says that the new facility offers a unique outing for area families, who has been running race teams in the Grand-Am Rolex Series since 2000. Lutheran Senior Services rang in the new year ready to announce the opening of its new resale shop - Hidden Gems Resale in March, 2013. The shop will be located at 9051 Watson Road near Ace Hardware in Crestwood Square Plaza, just one mile east of the former Crestwood Plaza. Customers will be invited in to shop 3-4 days a week. Proceeds from all sales will be used to support LSS residents who have outlived their ability to support themselves!

Oftentimes this involves arranging for a donation pick-up for furniture, household items and special collections.
